sunday morning rain is fallin

its another great day in myrtle beach :)
there are about 100 students in our group this year, we are split into three teams to go to church on sundays, two of the teams go to a church called Pine Drive Gospel Church in Surfside. and my team is attending Trinity Episcopal Church in Myrtle Beach. we had a great sermon today on "why religious people hate the Gospel" it was such an awesome sermon and detailed greatly about why we should care about the Gospel, and not about works and religion.

when we got back to our house (the love shack, thats what we named it -- because it is a shack, its got cockroaches, the paint is literally chipping off of our house in chunks, and people get arrested daily right in front of our house, we live in the cut in other words). anyway, we wanted to go shopping after church because it was a cloudy day unlike most of the days that we have had here, but it started to pour and it became a pretty bad storm so we stayed inside until it was over and then went to the mall down the street.

tomorrow i have work again from 945-7pm at wild water and wheels, i have met some pretty awesome people there and its great working with them and being able to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them.

one last thing, we went to the Toby Mac concert last night (he is a Christian music artist, formally in the band DC Talk). it was a free concert right down the road called "beachfest" by andrew palau. it was a ton of fun :)

thank you all for being in my life and praying for me this summer! its been awesome so far, and i can't wait to talk to and see you all when i return home! :)

its in the upper 90s everyday here with a heat index of 108 today! its warm, beautiful and i love it! hope minnesota is great, and let me know whats going on in your lives! :)
